Water Heaters

When you contact Aquilina Plumbing & Rooter for water heater repair or replacement, you can expect unparalleled service from skilled, licensed, and bonded plumbing technicians. In emergency situations, we will restore hot water to your household as quickly as possible.

If a replacement water heater becomes necessary, a specialist will help determine the best one for your home and budget.  We also take into consideration the water heating requirements of your family and energy usage expectations, and a variety of types, such as:

  • Conventional.   Gas or electric energy keeps water at a set temperature and come in a variety of gallon capacities. High-efficiency models can decrease water heating bills by about 7%.
  • Tankless.  This energy-efficient design only heats water when it is used. It needs less space but may require special venting, larger gas lines, or additional electric circuits that increase upfront costs. However, it could reduce water heating bills by as much as 30%.
  • Hybrid heat pump.  A composite water heater obtains energy from the air and uses it to heat water.  By using existing electrical and water connections, it can reduce water heating costs by nearly 60%..
  • Solar.  These systems utilize energy from the sun to produce hot water for your home. By using controls and pumps to circulate water into your home, an insulated storage tank, and a backup system is essential for cloudy days and high water demand.

Our certified technicians provide guaranteed workmanship, quality installation, and competitive prices. We remove old water heaters for our customers and install new ones the same or next day.

FAQs

  1.  Why do drains get clogged?  For the most part, kitchen drains clog because people get careless with what they put in them.  Bathroom drains tend to clog because of hair buildup and oil residue from soaps and shampoos.  Treating them with vinegar and baking soda can help eliminate the clog, but more severe clogs will require professional help.  Drain cleaners can be caustic to the pipes and the equipment we use to clear them, so we strongly advise against using them.
  2. Do I need a plumber to fix a leaky faucet or a clogged drain?  A plumber is highly skilled at repairing pipes and plumbing related fixtures, and can diagnose and solve problems that you might not be able to detect.
  3. Why does my faucet drip?  Usually a dripping faucet is the result of an internal component that needs repairs or replacement.  This is an inexpensive and simple fix that can save you tons of money over time.
  4. Is it a big deal if my toilet runs non-stop?  Leaky toilets can add hundreds of dollars every year to your water bill.  A toilet that runs non-stop indicates that some part of the mechanism is faulty.
  5. What can I put in my garbage disposal?  Almost all biodegradable food waste can be put into garbage disposals.  However, high-fiber content foods and non-food materials should never be run through a disposer.
